American Rare Earths and its subsidiaries are currently developing the Cowboy State Mine located at Halleck Creek in northeastern Albany County.
Recent tests have shown an increase in rare earth content in mined ore, which can remove 93.5% of impurities during early processing, and only 6.5% of mined ore requires further refining, greatly reducing processing costs.
At the end of January, the company announced a major update to the daily resource volume of the Halleck Creek project. According to the latest resource volume estimate in accordance with JORC standards, the total mineral resource volume has increased to 2.63 billion tons, an increase of 12.2% from the previous estimate, which will become one of the largest rare earth deposits in North America.
