Apple pushes recycled aluminum, rare earth elements and 13 other materials

Apple said that in 2024, recycled materials that meet IS0 14021 specifications will account for 24% of the total materials of Apple products. 71% of the aluminum purchased by the company in 2024 will come from recycled materials.
Apple prioritizes 15 materials in its recycled material transformation, accounting for 87% of its production: aluminum, cobalt, copper, glass, gold, lithium, paper, plastic, rare earth elements, steel, tantalum, tin, titanium, tungsten and zinc.
